I Support the Latinx Community Through Culturally-Informed Mental Health Care

Learn About Me and How I Can Help

Daniela Vázquez, Intern

Bilingual Psychotherapist

Hello, I’m Daniela Vázquez, a bilingual psychotherapist dedicated to supporting the Latinx community on their mental health journeys. I was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and raised in Juarez, so I understand the importance of family, culture, and resilience. I believe in creating a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and valued. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Humanistic methods, but most importantly, it’s shaped around you—your needs, your story, and your path to healing.
I know that reaching out for support isn’t easy, especially with the cultural challenges we face in the Latinx community. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or anything else that feels overwhelming, I’m here to walk with you. Together, we’ll explore your emotions, uncover the root causes of your challenges, and work toward healing in a way that feels authentic to you. My goal is to help you build the tools and self-compassion you need to move forward.

You Don’t Have to Face Your Struggles Alone, I Am Here to Help

Life can be hard, but you don’t have to go through it alone. In our sessions, we’ll create a space where you can feel safe expressing whatever emotions come up—whether it’s sadness, frustration, relief, or hope. All feelings are valid, and I’ll be here to offer support, understanding, and guidance every step of the way. Together, we’ll find ways to help you navigate life’s ups and downs with greater strength and clarity.

Get to Know A Little Bit More About Me

I grew up in a bilingual world, splitting my time between Juarez, Mexico, and the border city of El Paso, Texas. This rich cultural blend has shaped who I am today, giving me a deep appreciation for diversity and inclusivity. Moving to Chicago in 2021 marked a new chapter in my life, one that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. As an immigrant, I understand the challenges of change, and I bring that empathy into my work with clients.

My Specialties

I’m passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families as they face stress, anxiety, grief, trauma, and neurodevelopmental challenges. No matter what you’re going through, I’m here to help you find healing and growth.
