Centering healing for Latinx adults navigating grief, disconnection, and identity shifts.

Bilingual Psychotherapist

Marlen Granados | LPC

Marlen Granados, LPC, is a bilingual psychotherapist intern offering both in-person and virtual therapy across Illinois. As a first-generation Mexican-American who grew up in Brighton Park on Chicago’s South Side, Marlen understands the strength and the silence that many Latinx families carry. She’s here to offer a different kind of space.

Marlen’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in cultural understanding. She blends person-centered and narrative therapy with a trauma-informed lens, helping clients unpack their stories and rewrite the ones that no longer serve them. She works especially well with Latinx adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or are carrying invisible grief.

Clients who work with Marlen often describe her presence as grounding. Someone who offers compassion without judgment and invites growth without pressure. Her approach honors the role of family, spirituality, and identity in the healing process.

"You are not alone. Therapy can be the space where you begin again, but this time on your terms."
