Carla Cuellar is a bilingual therapist passionate about helping individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered in their healing journey. As a Peruvian immigrant and first-generation Latina, she is deeply committed to creating a culturally aware and affirming space where clients can explore their emotions, relationships, and identity without judgment.

Carla creates a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients are encouraged to move at their own pace while building self-understanding, confidence, and healthier coping skills. Her approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based techniques to help clients feel more grounded and connected to themselves.

She is especially passionate about working with children, teens, families, first-generation individuals, and clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, family conflict, identity struggles, life transitions, and immigration-related experiences. Carla also supports parents and caregivers in strengthening family relationships and creating healthier patterns within the home.

At the core of her work is compassion, cultural humility, and helping clients feel seen as whole people. She believes therapy should be a safe and empowering space where clients can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change at their own pace.
