Bilingual Psychotherapist
Marianna Alize Rodriguez is a bilingual therapist passionate about helping bilingual and Latine clients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their healing journey. She is committed to helping bridge the gap between mental health care and communities that have historically faced barriers to support.
She creates a warm, supportive, and welcoming space where clients can openly explore their emotions, identity, relationships, and life experiences without judgment. Her approach blends Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based techniques, and solution-focused support to help clients reconnect with themselves and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
She is especially passionate about working with first-generation students, young adults, young professionals, and Latinas navigating anxiety, family dynamics, identity struggles, immigration stress, burnout, and generational trauma. Her work is grounded in advocacy, compassion, and helping clients move beyond survival mode toward a life they can truly enjoy.
At the core of her work is the belief that healing should not come with shame or guilt. She hopes clients leave therapy feeling more empowered, connected, and able to embrace joy, vulnerability, and support within themselves and their communities.
"I want to be the therapist that clients seek because they don't have to translate themselves to be understood."
We know Latinx mental health is shaped by more than stress. Things like language, family loyalty, shame and gender roles al impact how we carry and express pain. You don’t have to translate your story here-we get it.
Elvialuz Gonzalez offers culturally responsive therapy, focusing on Latinx individuals and families navigating identity, first-generation stress, and intergenerational trauma. Her approach is warm, authentic, and grounded in building trust through connection and curiosity.
You don’t have to keep carrying the pressure alone. Whether you’re in Chicago or anywhere in Illinois, Elvialuz is here to help you move forward with compassion and clarity.
