Bilingual Psychotherapist
Reyna Valdez, LSW, is a bilingual therapist offering virtual therapy across Illinois. As a first-generation Latina, Reyna understands the weight of being “the strong one”, the one who keeps it together, even when feeling overwhelmed inside.
Reyna works with women navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, and relationship challenges. Her approach is gentle, body-based, and grounded in both evidence-based practices and cultural sensitivity. Drawing from somatic therapy, mindfulness, and holistic tools, she helps clients regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with themselves, and start setting boundaries that honor their needs.
She’s especially passionate about supporting those who’ve spent years prioritizing others and are now ready to prioritize their own healing. Reyna creates a calming, judgment-free space where clients can slow down, tune in, and feel seen.
"You’ve been the strong one for so long. In therapy, you get to rest, reflect, and be held"
We know Latinx mental health is shaped by more than stress. Things like language, family loyalty, shame and gender roles al impact how we carry and express pain. You don’t have to translate your story here-we get it.
Reyna supports Latina women with anxiety, boundaries, and self-worth. She blends somatic therapy, mindfulness, and cultural sensitivity in her work.
You don’t have to carry everything on your own. If you’re ready to feel more grounded and supported, Reyna is here to walk with you, wherever you are in Illinois.
