Stephanie Palacios, LCSW

Bilingual Psychotherapist

Hello, my name is Stephanie, I’m a bilingual (English & Spanish) psychotherapist at Latinx Talk Therapy. I strive to build safe, authentic and supportive relationships with my clients, connecting with their unique experiences to guide them on their journey of growth and goal achievement. Finding balance in life is crucial, though it’s often not easy. At times, life can feel overwhelming, and we may struggle to know where to begin. My therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of techniques to tailor the process to your unique needs, with a strong emphasis on understanding you as an individual.
As a Latinx individual, I understand the significance of honoring and embracing our shared experiences. I understand the complexities of navigating the impacts of intersectionality, marginalization, immigration, acculturation, and generational or historical trauma. Our community endures challenges and injustices that impact our perspectives, as well as our emotional and mental well-being. Together, we’ll work to help you reflect inward, gaining a deeper understanding of yourself—your life, emotions, behaviors, and thought patterns. As you heal and feel more complete, you’ll find it easier to trust yourself and build healthier patterns.

You Don’t Have to Face Your Struggles Alone, I Am Here to Help

Through the therapeutic process I utilize a socio-ecological framework that recognizes the interconnectedness of individual, environmental, societal, and cultural influences. I understand that oppressive systems and practices deeply impact these different levels, and my goal is to help you navigate and address these challenges with support and care. Together, we’ll use mindfulness tools and techniques to process your emotions and work through situations in the present moment. As we explore and confront difficult feelings and experiences, I will be there to guide, encourage, and gently challenge you every step of the way.

I use a variety of methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), TF-CBT , Client-Centered and Psychodynamic Therapy tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re facing personal challenges or navigating complex identities.
